I am just a guy who has read a lot of books, done a lot of research, made a lot of mistakes, invested in stocks, bonds, real estate, ruined my credit, built it back up again to a perfect score, and managed to navigate the world of personal finance and credit the best i can. I am happy to answer questions and talk about my journey as it has been an interesting one. I am happily married with two children. I am fortunate enough that my wife has been a “force multiplier” during my quest for financial independence. She makes prudent choices and favors utility over impulse purchases. We constantly try to find fun and novel ways to teach our children the value and importance of a dollar saved. In a way, this blog is for both of them. I hope over my lifetime I will be able to drive home these lessons, but if I do this right, they will have this blog to reference long after I am gone.
